SuperItems are individual items assigned to more than one person or project. They remain linked, so that changes to the source item are reflected in all other instances. Let's say you create an action item in the Journal, and assign it to three people and one project. Any changes made to the original item will appear four times -- with one set of keystrokes!
SuperItems are created by using HotKey technology. SuperItems are differentiated from standard items by a blue bullet point, and italicized owner/project/due dates, which also appear in blue. SuperItems cannot be changed from inside individual outlines – only at the source. However, you may unlink SuperItems from each other with a quick keystroke. Detaching one item from the other SuperItems makes the item behave like a standard item. And,checking off a SuperItem in one outline will mark it as complete in all others, too!
