No junk, no jokes,
just pure action items.
Never again will an important work project get lost between
the inter-office jokes, junk mail solicitations, and endless
carbon copies found in your e-mail Inbox today! Important
directives are managed by ActionItems'™ own Inbox
technology, keeping them out of the clutter and in plain sight.
Know who's on line and who's
not.
As co-workers sign on to the local network, ActionItems™
turns the status bullet next to their name in the Listings
window to "green". This person can now receive
action items in their Inbox. If the intended party is off-line,
the bullet disappears. Any sent messages remain in your
Pending until that person next signs on.
Looks and acts like your
e-mail program (without all other the e-mails, of course).
Your Inbox lets you know how many items are in it at any
time. To view items, simply click on your Inbox. A complete
listing of items appear in the Listings window, along with
Sender, Due Date, Priority and Received
Date. Choose to accept or reject the item by clicking
a button. It's that simple!

Sending
Action Items
To "Live Assign" an item to someone on your local network, first create an item for them, or select one from the Pending area. The status bullet next to the item will be "grey", meaning the item has not yet been assigned. Highlight the item, then click on "Live Assign". If the recipient is on-line, the item will go directly to their Inbox. If they are off-line, it will remain in your Pending until they become available. If the recipient accepts the item, the bullet will become "green" and move to their Assigned Outline. If the recipient rejects the item, the bullet becomes "red" and remains in Pending.
Receiving Action Items
To accept an item in your Inbox, highlight it and click "Accept". The item moves from your Inbox to your personal Assigned Outline, and the sender is notified.
To reject an item in your Inbox, highlight the item
and click "Reject". This removes it from your
Inbox and notifies the sender. |
